Shotwick Lake is situated on the Welsh, English border on the edge of the Dee estuary. We have members from North Wales, The Wirral, Chester and North West England. 

A family club we pride ourselves on our community and are an affiliated RYA Training Centre running sailing and windsurfing courses for both juniors and adults alike.

The calm and the storm

Week 2 of the Twilight Series - Wednesday 16th April. Racing Secretary, Simon Dolman, reports on race 2 of the series. Recognising that the Spring Series adds a third race to the programme from Sunday, the galley team have come to the rescue and will be serving bacon butties every Sunday from April 20th for only £1.50! Twilight racing 1

With a comfortable breeze, the Wednesday night Twilight Series got off to a superb start with almost idyllic, if a little chilly, conditions. It was a Laser lockout at the top of the results table, with Gwyn Jones being pushed hard by Ian Duncan and Jim Young. Early Spring Series 9/10 of 12

As the fantastic weather continues, Simon Dolman reports on the penultimate weekends racing in the Early Spring Series.
